The Gifford Foundation and the CNY Community Foundation are offering a free workshop on grant writing featuring consultant Babette Baker. Designing Highly Competitive Proposal is a free interactive advanced grant writing workshop designed for mature nonprofit organizations that already manage multiple foundation, state, local, and federal awards, and want to strengthen their competitiveness.

Participants will examine the changing grant environment; assess funding opportunities by aligning with mission, organizational capacity, risk, return, and long-term sustainability; and apply disciplined go/no-go decision-making before pursuing new awards.

Please note: Participants will complete preparatory homework prior to the first session to maximize the effectiveness of the workshop.
