Our Response to the COVID-19 Virus
Greetings friends, family, partners and community members,
Like so many of you, The Gifford Foundation is closely monitoring the latest developments related to the COVID -19 virus. We are acutely aware of your concerns regarding the health and safety of loved ones and those you serve, as well as the potential economic fallout that this crisis may present.
In order to do our part in keeping our community safe we have closed our office. As a team we continue to work remotely – please email and or call if you need assistance. We will be transitioning to virtual meetings for the foreseeable future.
We pray that everyone who receives this message is well. If you have information to share regarding communities who need support please do not hesitate to reach out.
That being said, once you know where you are you are poised to figure out where you want to go. While we’re still in the middle of that process, I am happy to share that the Gifford Foundation board of trustees and the staff are meeting in February to further refine our work and operations. In the meantime, here are a few things we’ve been up to:
In health and community,
Sheena, Lindsay, Megan and Sheria
